History

Founded in 1985 by Richard Rotner, focusing on shopping center acquisitions and small-store leasing.
Selected in 1984 to be the exclusive regional representative of ChainLinks.
Grew into the premier and largest retail-only real estate brokerage firm in the greater Washington DC - Baltimore region.

H & R Retail Today

Represents over 8.85 million square feet of retail space and 52 exclusive big box, specialty stores and restaurants.
Since 2000, has facilitated more than 1,100 leases, land sales and investment sales totaling approximately 19.2 million square feet of retail space with a total consideration of over $2 billion.
Structures the company as a partnership, creating stable and invested principals with whom clients have direct access.

Our Team

Consists of 17 dedicated retail professionals.
Leads in knowledge of all regional market activity, providing clients with first-hand information of existing and upcoming retail space and retailer's expansion plans.
Provides shopping center leasing, retail tenant representation, investment sales, and surplus property disposition.
Draws upon the experience, relationships and support of the entire team, providing clients with uncompromised service.
