Broker’s Assistant
H & R Retail, with offices in Baltimore and Bethesda, Maryland is the largest retail-only real estate brokerage firm in the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metropolitan area. We are seeking a broker assistant to support two principals in our Baltimore office.

The successful candidate will have the ability to make great contacts within the industry, gain a tremendous understanding of the commercial retail brokerage business and have the opportunity to work with two of the top performing retail brokers in both the market and country.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining client reports
• Contacting brokers and owners for site information
• Land research
• Responding to inquiries for information from prospective tenants and brokers
• Researching comparables and maintaining a database
• Drafting proposals, commission agreements and letters of intent
• Preparing site submittals and summaries
• Overseeing tour book preparation
• Taking pictures throughout the market
• Proofing client materials prior to release
• Coordinate and fact check press releases
• Meeting/travel coordination
• Coordinating mass mailers/emails

Qualifications:

• Personable: The candidate will have direct contact with clients handling requests for information as well as obtain information from public sources
• Tenacious: The candidate will be asked to get information that is difficult to obtain. Must be persistent in getting information
• Independent thinker: The candidate must possess the ability to think through the task and make our process and client service better
• Strong work ethic: The candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for business
• Creative thinker with a team mentality
• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail are a must
