Scope of Service Experience Jim joined H & R Retail in 2002 and is a Principal.
For the last 17 years, Jim has been responsible for all leasing related matters including:
- Conducting market feasibility studies
- Formulating desired tenant mix and merchandising plans
- Assisting in establishing leasing budgets
- Developing marketing information
- Managing and coordinating leasing efforts
- Contacting perspective tenants
- Negotiating business term and legal issues

Background and Experience Prior to joining H & R Retail, Jim was the Senior Vice President of Leasing at Combined Properties, Inc., a firm that he was with for more then 13 years and that provides leasing and property management services for 34 retail properties totaling five million square feet. He has developed strong relationships with retailers, landlords and with the brokerage community. Jim has worked with individual owners, large private companies, pension fund advisors and REITS.

Career Highlights to Date Jim led the releasing and remerchandising efforts of the 420,000 SF Laurel Lakes Centre in Laurel, Maryland. Along with other H & R Retail agents, a former K Mart was leased to Ross for Less, Michael’s and Modell’s Sporting Goods. Other notable deals included Staples, Red Lobster and Chipotle. The efforts of the team repositioned Laurel Lakes Centre as the dominant center in the area. |
