Remy Esquenet joined the H&R Retail Investment Properties Team as a Managing Director of Retail Investment Sales Remy brings to the company not only extensive commercial real estate experience but a strong legal and environmental background.

Background and Experience
Prior to joining H&R Retail, Remy worked with Next Realty specializing in acquistions and dispositions of retail assets in the Northern Virginia market and as Director of Development and In-House Counsel for the Thurston Companies. Previously, Remy was an associate in the commercial real estate transactional group at the law firm of Shulman Rogers Gandal Pordy & Ecker. In addition to being a member of the Bar in both Maryland and the District of Columbia, Remy has a strong environmental background. Remy spent two years in the White House's Office of the Federal Environmental Executive during the Clinton Administration and has worked on matters involving hazardous materials management, pollution prevention, and site remediation.
